The Clergy and members of the Southern Archdeaconry Churches met for the Archdeaconry Get Together on the 17th of July 2010. It was a time of great awakening when the parishes from Johor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan met at Christ Church Melaka to partake in Holy Communion together and to discuss various issues regarding the future of the Diocese. Among the issues discussed were to have a Province of West Malaysia with 3 dioceses, to increase manpower of clergy and workers, finance to enable us to be self supporting and to move forward in Mission. The perspectives were presented by Bishop Datuk Dr. S. Batumalai, Rev. David Rajiah and Canon John Ganapathy. At the close of the session, the participants spent time in prayer for the Diocese.
